Louise is a qualified social worker with a Master in Public Policy and Management, who has over thirty years experience in the human service sector, predominantly in the area of Disability. Louise is currently a teaching specialist, Lecturer in the Social Work program at Flinders University.
Louise’s most recent prior position was as Director, Behaviour Support with The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission in South Australia, held for a period of eighteen months from its inception in the state in July 2018. This role involved working within a regulatory framework to ensure Registered NDIS Providers and Practitioners in South Australia were aware of, and compliant with, behaviour support and restrictive practices rules, the Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
This followed a career working for SA Government disability services in a senior management role, and as a Quality Assurance Manager for a children’s disability service in the UK.
