Who We Are

The Disability Advocacy and Complaints Service of South Australia Inc. (DACSSA) helps people with a disability, their family and carers resolve a complaint that happens because of the person's disability or because of their relationship to the person with the disability.

Who Can Use DACSSA

Our services are available without cost to people with a disability, or anyone acting for a person with a disability (for example family, friend or carer) who live in South Australia or a person with a disability visiting South Australia and who uses a South Australian service.

What People Can Expect from Our Service

  • People can expect to:
  • be listened to,
  • be taken seriously,
  • receive support during the process of resolving a complaint,
  • receive information on how to resolve your complaint and what other services can help you.
  • be assisted in working out what options are available to resolve a complaint.
  • be consulted when deciding what strategies can be used to resolve the complaint.
